Forest Football Success

In a thrilling display of talent and teamwork, the Year 7 Girls and Boys football teams here at Forest have both achieved remarkable success. With a series of impressive victories, these young athletes have not only showcased their skills on the pitch but have also demonstrated exceptional sportsmanship and camaraderie.

The girls team has seen unprecedented success, making headlines remaining unbeaten in all competitions, and only conceding one goal. They are also through to the semi-finals of the District Cup, with their journey so far marked by a series of nail-biting matches, with standout performances all across the pitch and persistent delivery.

The team’s resilience and determination have inspired their peers and garnered support from the Forest community. 

‘It feels amazing; it has been a real experience. Girls football at Forest changed rapidly as more girls came to the school, so many girls wanted to come and play in a safe and fun place. Meanwhile, the boy’s team has also had a stellar season, finishing at the top of the District League to become District Champions. Their hard work and commitment during training seasons have paid off, leading to a string of victories. The boy’s teamwork and strategic play have been pivotal to their success, setting a high standard for future teams.
